Anita is a Senior Associate at Schembri McCluskys. She is a passionate and dedicated solicitor advocate. Anita was admitted to practise as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1998 and by the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2004.

Since her admission Anita has practised in Telecommunications Law, Property, Mortgages, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Law, Crimes Compensation, Intervention Orders, Wills and Estates and Guardianship Applications.

Anita has over 20 years of experience in Criminal Law, Family Law and Family Violence related matters and regularly appears in Courts across metropolitan Victoria.   

Anita is experienced in all aspects of Family Law including divorce, property and  children’s matters involving family violence and child protection issues. She aims for the best outcome for her clients even in the most difficult circumstances.

In addition to general practice, Anita manages our victims of crime team as well as advises and represents victims of sexual offences in compensation applications against offenders.  

Anita is highly experienced in applications for Intervention Orders and breaches of Intervention Orders.  She routinely appears in family violence related matters in the Magistrates’ Court and was the senior family violence duty lawyer at Court for a community legal centre for 12 years.  Anita will provide tailored and comprehensive advice about an Intervention Order and prides herself on outstanding results.
