Jordyn completed her Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University in 2019. Whilst undertaking her studies, Jordyn gained significant practical experience by working in the legal industry for many years and, in 2019, discovered her true passion in Family and Criminal Law. Jordyn joined the Schembri + McCluskys family in 2022. 

Jordyn regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates' Courts around Victoria on a variety of matters. 

She is very passionate about her work and whilst she enjoys working closely with clients to obtain the optimal results outside of Court, her love of advocacy shines through during her appearance work in Court.

• Family Law, including Divorce, Property and Parenting Matters;

• Intervention Orders; and

• Criminal Matters

Career Highlights

• Obtaining Parenting Orders for significant time for a client whom had been prevented from seeing his children for several years;

• Successfully reducing significant criminal charges in circumstances when allegations were unsubstantiated; and

• Any outcome in which clients receive a positive result and feel vindicated and supported.

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do

I enjoy helping clients feel heard and giving them realistic advice as to how to tackle their legal battles in an manner that is efficient and cost effective.  I take the trust that my client’s put in me very seriously and strive to achieve the best outcomes possible.

Interests outside of work

I spend much of my free time with my family, shopping or diving into a good book.
